TAX COLLECTOR'S NOTICE - RELEASE TO DEPT MOTOR VEHICLE

*If you have unpaid motor vehicle taxes, you will be UNABLE to register/reregister with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Once payment is received, the Tax Office will upload an electronic release notification into the DMV System, by 8:00 PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY.
Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle no longer accepts printed releases and must have electronic release online by the Tax Collector.
